We left the next day for the Chenal de Four and Cameret. It was the 24/6/15 and the weather was good but it was an early start. On arriving we ate out at an ok restaurant on the promenade. We showered on board and left next morning , again early. We had to leave our mooring fee in an envelope as we never saw the harbour master!
We entered the Raz en route to Audierne . It was an interesting narrow gap surrounded by rocks and cliffs! We got through with weather and tide but the pilot book was wrong and the slack at the Raz is HW Brest.
Audierne is nice but we took a mooring bouy and stayed on board as we were leaving again next day. I had my first bracing swim off the boat and enjoyed it. Camile was the young lad taking the money but offered a free ferry to the shore and took rubbish bags as well. He even offered to fetch bread etc. a good lad.
We arrived in Loctudy today after a wet, long, and misty trip. We will stay here for a rest tomorrow and go Sunday to Port la Foret where I hope to find a raymarine expert to mend my autohelm. We had a meal out again as too tired to cook. We only had usable wifi here! That is why there is an short entry.
